Caller-identification app Truecaller has started rolling out a new feature for Android devices. This is the second feature which has been rolled out after rolling out the Call Reason feature to supported devices.

In a tweet made by Kunal Dua, Product Head at Truecaller, “@Truecaller gets the ability to archive conversations.

With one tap, you can hide entire threads and they’ll spring back into view when you get a new message or call in that conversation.

Rolling out now to all users on Android.”

Recently Truecaller also started rolling out its new Call Reason feature, similar to Google’s Verified Calls – where users will get to know why any individual is calling them.

The calling platform has added a new feature where callers can add reasons as to why they are calling someone. The feature is currently available to only Android users. Also, users will not be able to check the reason if they miss the call.

This is an important feature when the caller is unknown. The feature is similar to Google’s Verified Calls feature which is currently in development and will be added to the default calling app in the near future.

Truecaller has stated that the feature was one of the most requested ones of 2020 and extends the original caller ID feature which allows you to add a note with your call which will be shown to the recipient before they pick up the call.
